Unlike the Main Translations page, this page is updated less frequently, perhaps 1-2 times per month, and for updates that likely require your attention.

  • Attention translators! If you haven't already enabled Snap Shots with your favorite language on your own site, you can preview it here: http://previewshots.com/demo. You can play around with the various Snap Shots options, too! (Note that translation changes you made will not be reflected on the above demo page and other live Snap Shots pages until the next product release, which typically occurs once per week.)
  • Translations for the right-to-left languages (Arabic, Hebrew, Persian) need proof-reading and review! We're aware of some problems and seek your help. Thanks!

  • Support for the following right-to-left (RTL) languages has been added! 
 Arabic, Hebrew, Persian
  • To show Snap Shots in a different language, start with the link in your "Welcome to Snap Shots" registration email to return to the Snap Shots Customization page, select the desired language under Advanced Options and obtain an updated JavaScript code to include on your website. If you can't locate your registration email, no problem. Option 1: you can simply modify the current Snap Shots JavaScript code on your website to add/modify the language code (eg. "&lang=ca-es" for Catalan). Option 2: just re-register and obtain a new code.

  • We have released the support for 24 additional languages with today's Snap Shots release! (Full list.)
  • This is a monumental release for Snap Shots not just for the support for many additional languages, but also for its sleek re-design and the support for PreviewShot/RSS Shot toggle. Read more about it on the Snap Blog. 
 Afrikaans, Bulgarian, Catalan, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Esperanto, Filipino,
 Finnish, Hungarian, Icelandic, Italian, Malayalam, Polish, Portuguese (Portugal),
 Romanian, Serbian (Latin & Cyrillic), Slovak, Slovenian, Swedish, Tagalog, Turkish
  • Need your help: for each of these new languages, please suggest a font name that meets these rough guidelines: popular, modern-looking, and readily available on PCs (say, with the Windows XP language packs). Wherever applicable, we will use Trebuchet font that we're already using. You can submit font suggestions on the User_talk:Snap page.
  • For RTL languages (Arabic, Hebrew, Persian), we apologize as we still haven't completed its support. It remains a high priority item on our development schedule; please stay tuned for updates...

  • Russian has been added to the list of international languages available in Snap Shots, both in the Shots bubble as well as the various information and signup pages.

  • Currently you can provide translations for the Snap Shots bubble. Soon you could do the same for the various Snap Shots information and signup pages (Shots Central, About Shots, Signup pages). More details on this topic available soon...
